Glorious Sunset

Tonight we witnessed the most spectacular sunset. Everything had a yellow tint. The wind was blowing all afternoon and left us with the most glorious sunset ever. It looked like paintings, no rather murals in the sky, it was so real.

Hoon Hay Horse Riding

Last Sunday afternoon Nicolene went horse riding with Emma. She owns three horses - Hugo, Apatchi and Sylvi. Sylvi is sick at the moment so we didn't get to see her. Apatchi is a miniature horse. He is so cute. Hugo is lovely. He is 6 years old with the most adorable face. He is a very kind hearted horse. Michelle also had a go.

The Shack - William Paul Young

The Shack is one of the most wonderous books I have ever read! It blew my mind again and again and again. Everything I know my God to be is summed up in this amazing book. Eugene Peterson says "This book has the potential to do for our generation what John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress did for his. It's that good!"

I actually don't have words to describe the content. It is truly mind blowing. If you ever had any doubts about God's goodness and kindness, where God is in a world so filled with unspeakable pain, then this is a must read! It also explains the Trinity in such a way that it will make sense to the most ungodly person out there. The Shack reignited my passion for Christ and it simplifies what God is all about. Make sure to get a copy. You WILL love it!
