Continued......QEII

As promised, we went to QEII in the afternoon. The swimming pool was packed with children and parents. Nicolene was the only one brave enough to go down that really BIG water slide. Michelle practised her swimming in the deep side of the pool and every now and again all the girls got into the hot pools to relax. Mum had to drag the girls out of the pools....again and again. And eventually we went home and had lovely pizza for dinner.

Tadpoles

Today we not only went grocery shopping but we also went tadpole shopping! It was great fun choosing which two tadpoles will live in our fish tank. Spikey belongs to Nicolene and Toxic belongs to Michelle. Don't ask how they got their names! We also have Nicole over for a play and sleepover. The weather is a bit off today, but it won't stop us from going to QEII later for some more holiday fun.

The cinema, a cupcake and the reading bug

Today we went to see The Chipmunks at the movies. Boy, is that Alvin a menace!! We had Sushi for lunch and mum took us to the Cupcake Collection for an oh so yummy treat. There were so many to choose from. In the end mum and Nicolene had a cheesecake cupcake and Michelle an orange blossom cupcake. Afterwards we popped into the new bookshop called The Reading Bug.

More holiday fun

We have been keeping busy over the holidays with friends coming over for plays and sleep overs. Here is Hannah. She is my best friend. We had a picnic at Spencer park and had loads of fun running around and playing on all the equipment.

In the night garden....

No balls, food or bugs allowed, thank you very much!
(don't you love the spelling?)

Here is one of many bright ideas the two of us have to keep us entertained over the school holidays...our own garden right next to our new playroom. We are going to get some seedlings on Saturday at the English market and start our own little night garden. We secretly hope that the Tomliboo's, Igglepiggle, Macka Packa and Upse Daisy will come and visit us.

Playroom

We have convinced mum and dad to convert the conservatory (which they never use!) into our own playroom / hideout. We had our first night in there last night. It is great fun and mum thinks we might be able to keep the house clean for longer than a day....ha-ha poor mum - she doesn't get it. We love messing up the living room! We have our own TV in here, a desk and two couches and all our art stuff.
