Today was our annual school fair. We had fantastic weather and the school was buzzing with activities and fun things to do and sweet stuff to buy! Nicolene and Michelle's Kapa Haka group also performed today.

Labour weekend project

We managed to fix up an old Jack & Jill double chair we found on the property last year. Dad has been wanting to do this for ages, but Mum thought it a real dumb idea! We forgot to take a before photo but have plenty of after photos to show. It looks like mum was the dumby in the end, 'cause it turned out beautiful.

Pukeko at Clearwater

We were very fortunate to catch up with Jenny and her family on Friday evening for dinner. The girls enjoyed playing with Alex and Dominic. Just a pity mum forgot her camera! Michelle left her top and socks there, so we went back to pick it up at reception and there we saw a cute Pukeko mummy and her babies. It's the first time we got to see little Pukekos. See if you can spot them in the grass.

Gondola Trip

Today we went up up up with the Gondola. The weather was fantastic and we could see miles and miles of beautiful Banks Peninsula. We went through the Time Tunnel and learned some amazing facts on the volcanic eruptions and of the first settlers in Christchurch. We all had some yummy refreshments in the Summit Cafe.

Dot's new lambs

Today we ran into Dot at the mall and invited ourselves over when we heard there were new lambs at Wycombe Lodge. They were only a few hours old. They were so cute and cuddly. Keren got a real fright when Tulip came too close when we fed her some sheep nuts. Phew, luckily mum was there to rescue her. Thanks Dot, we had a great time feeding the sheep! We love your new lambies.

At last we have a new camera! Now mum can take millions of silly photos like the one she took of herself!
